Mustard Projectors & Communications Ltd seeks to recruit a Human Resource Manager to lead the HR function.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the main duties will include but not limited to the following;
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle all day to day HR duties relating to staff like leave administration, records keeping , promotions, staff file maintenance among others;
• Manage staff recruitment and staffing across the organization by identifying requirements, liaising with recruitment agencies and maintaining a databank of applicants;
• Manage Health and safety and statutory compliance issues like NSSF, NHIF, Public Health Act among other emerging compliance issues;
• Develop human resource policies and ensure dissemination and compliance with the same;
• Carry out Training needs assessment and identify training programs to bridge the skills and competence gap in the company or recommend external training interventions;
• Manage staff deployment in the head office as well as in the field sites;
• Manage the staff payroll and ensure it remains within budgetary estimates;
• Develop manpower projections and other HR plans that are needed for operations of the company;
• Manage staff discipline and handle grievances arising out of the work place to ensure cohesion and harmony across the organization;
• Manage performance management and continuous productivity improvement
• Perform any other duties as may be allocated by management from time to time
Person Specifications;
• A holder of minimum Diploma in Human Resources or administration from a recognized body/Institution;
• A degree in Social Sciences/Human Resources /Commerce from a recognized university;
• Must have scored at least C+ grade at Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education(K.C.S.E;
• At least 1 year practical and hands on experience in Human Resources in a market driven organization;
• A sober, collected and mature person with high levels of integrity;
• A good communicator able to learn fast and manage people issues;
• Aged between 25 - 35 years;
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills;
• Have Proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office Suite;
• Strong customer focus and solution orientation
