Job Title: Human Resource Manager
Impact Research and Development Organization is a registered Kenyan NGO with a main office in Kisumu and regional offices in eight counties.
IRDO’s principal mandate is to design, implement and evaluate HIV/AIDS research and intervention programs that improve the health status of individuals and local communities.
Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing human capital, administration policies, strategies, systems and processes to maintain good relations between management and staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide professional leadership in the development and implementation of administration and human resources plans and budgets, and in performance management.
2. Ensure compliance with good human resources practices, labour laws and good labour relations.
3. Ensure there is an appropriate HR training and development plans in place, and implemented.
4. Ensure that the organization develops policies for attracting, retaining & developing best-performing human resource.
5. Advise the Board of Directors on personnel issues
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management/ Business Administration or any other related field.
Masters in Human Resource Management an added advantage
Must be a registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
Preferably served as Human Resource Manager for 3 years in a busy organization with at least 500 staff.
Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications.
