Reporting to the Assistant Engineer (Plant), the successful candidate will be responsible for the following among others:
Performing preventative maintenance and ensuring safety of all mechanical equipment.
Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining of Hospital mechanical systems.
Maintaining and repairing plumbing, gas and drainage installations.
Maintaining and repairing kitchen and laundry equipment, pumps, compressed air systems, pool equipment, oil fired boilers, steam distribution and recovery systems.
Maintaining up to date job cards for each job assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Plant option) from a recognized institution.
2 years experience in hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical repairs.
Good organisational, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Computer literate.
