Job Title: Procurement Manager

Requirements:
• Applicants must be holders of Masters degree in Commerce, Business Administration (Purchasing and Supplies Management Option), Purchasing and Supplies Management, Marketing, Law or any other related field from a recognized university.
• Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Commerce/Business Administration (Procurement and Supplies Management option), Economics, Procurement and Supplies Management, Marketing or their equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
In addition applicants must have the following:
• Diploma in Procurement and Supplies Management or its approved equivalent from a recognized institution
• At least five (5) years experience, three (3) of which as Principal Procurement Officer Grade 13
• Conversant with procurement systems and processes in public institutions
• Excellent computer and negotiation skills
• The applicant should be a registered member of CIPS/ KISM.
Terms of Service:
The terms of service for the above include a generous medical scheme, house allowance and commuting allowance. Successful candidates will be offered two (2) year renewable performance - based contract and gratuity will be paid at the end of the contract.
