Job Details;
Savannah Cement is seeking to recruit highly motivated, dynamic and innovative result oriented professionals, seeking a thrilling and fulfilling experience, to join the company in the following position:
Administrative Officer
This position reports to the Head of Human Resources and is responsible for coordinating and providing administrative support and internal logistics services to enable Savannah Cement achieve its business objectives through effective utilization of its resources
Responsibilities
Ensures timely procurement of administration supplies and services in line with Savannah Cement Procurement policies and regulations.
Ensures timely and comprehensive insurance of Savannah Cement physical assets.
Is involved in the procurement of all Savannah Cement capital items and oversees their repair and maintenance.
Prepares drivers schedules and manages their performance.
Prepares and monitors the administration unit budget.
Prepares reimbursement schedule for PMR and provides logistical support in event organisation and essential services.
Ensures all contracts and leases are in place and current and liaises with all outsourced services to ensure contract terms are adhered to.
Oversees the tendering and disposal of the capital assets and supplies.
Makes travel and hotel bookings.
Facilitates routine vehicle maintenance; and
Maintains the organizations Asset Register
Requirements;
An undergraduate degree from a recognized university with Professional qualifications in supply chain management.
Over 3 years working experience in a busy administration and procurement department, preferably in a government or non-governmental entity.
Membership in a related professional body with high integrity, strong communication and interpersonal skills with computer proficiency skills
Ability to respond to issues efficiently and is innovative
Exposure and ability to work in a diversified multicultural set-up; and
Excellent organization and planning skills.
An attractive remuneration package commensurate with the responsibilities of the job and the experience of the individual wilt be negotiated with the right candidates.
