Our client is a specialist Insurance Company with operations in Kenya and is now setting sights to the wider East Africa region. Our client provides insurance solutions both to large corporates and the SME sector in a refreshing style with large elements of out of the box thinking.

Our client challenges convention in all areas and offers market leading products and services to customers, and is preparing to be a very dominant player in this commercial space.

In order to grow locally and set up a platform for the region, our client seeks to hire a Marketing Co-ordinator who will report to the GeneralManager, Corporate Business

Summary of Role
Responsible for overseeing marketing initiatives within an organization. Works to develop areas such as sales management, product development, distribution channel management, marketing communications, including advertising and promotions, pricing, market research, and customer service.

Requirements
•University degree in Business preferably Bachelor of Commerce.
•Good progress in ACII or equivalent from a recognized Insurance Institute.
•Possess professional qualification in marketing with a minimum of diploma level.
•Have a minimum 4 year’s experience in sales and marketing preferably in the insurance industry.
•Possess leadership skill and ability to work with diverse teams.
•Knowledge of operations of insurance industry and its interface with the insurance Regulatory Authority.

Primary responsibilities
•Facilitate growth, sales, and marketing strategies in the company
•Increase revenue generation and Reduce costs.
•Perform risk mitigation and prepare overall marketing strategy.
•Develop programs with quantifiable objectives to measure results.
•Implement and manage marketing budget.
•Leverage data and analytics to drive insights.
•Modify or redirect business intelligence strategy.
•Oversee and direct the efforts of the marketing team.
•Develop segmentation, competitive analysis/market intelligence, prospecting, lead generation, product and market development, pricing, promotions, communications and budgets, sales force effectiveness, strategic planning, services units and revenue retention and growth.
•Oversee the development of new products and create product roadmap.
•Develop and measure key metrics around the business including user acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, satisfaction and renewal rates.
