Job Title: Project Manager

Responsibilities;

• Managing all infrastructure projects for the corporation in regard to development of non-conceded assets;
• Carrying out feasibility studies for minor and major works and recommend new projects and extensions to existing structures, new railway lines and ports;
• Carrying out required site visits and inspections to determine the engineering aspects of planned and on-going works;
• Initiating, planning, preparing and executing repair and maintenance programs of all non-conceded assets including houses, offices and workshops;
• Preparing reports and projects to ensure that decisions are based on the best possible information and take account of all resources implications and time and budget constraints;
• Negotiating contracts with external contractors to carry out major capital projects and minor works ensuring the best value for money for the corporation; and
• Ensuring certification of the completion of projects and taking over on behalf of the corporation.

Requirements:

• Excellent coordination and organizational skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player
• Computer literacy and familiarity with Project Management tool or software
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration with Engineers Registration Board
• 8 years engineering experience in projects design, construction and supervision.
• Must have a PMI certification
