About the company;

We are seeking for suitable candidates with experience in installing, troubleshooting and maintaining CCTV systems, access control systems, intruder alarm systems, fire detection systems, electric gates and other security products and systems to fill the position of an Installation Technician.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Install, configure and program IP and Analog CCTV cameras (including DVRs and NVRs), Access Control Systems, Intruder Alarm Systems, Fire Detection Systems, Electric Gates and other security products and systems.
*Integrate CCTV cameras, access control systems and other security systems through service installation and software deployment.
*Undertake and coordinate customer site surveys to determine security and technical requirements, including preparing detailed site plans/schematics and make recommendations for appropriate system solutions.
*Assess installed systems for operational and performance deficiencies through documented testing and troubleshooting protocols/procedures and discuss with customers the appropriate corrective actions.
*Manage installation job site in an efficient and safe manner keeping it clean, organized and professional.
*Ability to identify new and innovative product opportunities, study the feasibility of the same and prepare technical manuals for the products and update the Quality Plans when required.
*On Call duties including responding and resolving after hours and weekend trouble calls if needed.
*Contribute to preparing tender and proposal documentation and responding to technical requirements as needed.
*Assist in preparing costing/billing assessments for installation, repair and maintenance works as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

*Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized National Training Institution.
*Minimum 3 years experience installing, commissioning and maintaining electronic security systems, including CCTVs (IP and Analog CCTV cameras), Access Controls, Intruder Alarms, Fire Detection Systems, Electric Gates, etc
*Advanced knowledge of computers and IP networks, structured cabling methods, racking, cable terminations and practices
*Demonstrated experience in using cable testers, termination tools and other basic hand and power tools
*Advanced conduit and cable management skills are essential
*Experience installing all types of electro-magnetic locks and strikes
*Experience in wiring security and communication control panels
*Ability to work independently under minimum supervision or as a team leader
*Ability to work in any environment safely and must have maintained an excellent safety record over the last 3 years
*Ability to teach and provide guidance to other engineers
*Must be able to work in outdoor settings and confined spaces, be comfortable working with ladders, tolerating heights, and be able to routinely lift, push, or pull packages of up to 25kgs.
*Excellent written and oral English language skills
*Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Duties and Accountabilities:

• Task manage analytical products or contribute inputs to them, working with local research teams and helping them to engage with senior country officials, other in-country stakeholders and development partners in policy dialogue on a range of issues: poverty, inequality, labor, and crisis impacts;
• Provide cutting-edge technical support to country counterparts on household survey design, poverty and inequality measurement and monitoring, and other elements of capacity building for poverty analysis in country. This will include developing, testing and taking to scale the use of innovative IT solutions for poverty monitoring/social accountability;
• Share/disseminate good technical practice and sound poverty analysis to country counterparts and other stakeholders, in country;
• Foster and engage in dialogue with country team colleagues and country counterparts on poverty and inequality measurement and monitoring, analytical findings related to poverty, inequality, and labor, and on strengthening of poverty reduction programs and policy, in particular social protection work;
• Contribute to increased integration of poverty analysis–or poverty focus– in PREM and other sector products;
• Work with colleagues on the poverty team and other parts of the Bank in sharing knowledge and experience as well as participate in regional poverty and inequality work.
• The selected candidate would focus on a subset of the countries covered by AFTP2 including at least Kenya, Sudan and South Sudan, as well as engage in regional analytical tasks in the area of poverty dynamics.

Selection Criteria:

• Advanced degree in economics (PhD preferred) and at least 8 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge and experience with poverty measurement and analysis, and poverty mapping, is essential;
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English;
• Strong analytical background and experience in microeconomic analysis, including empirical analysis of large micro datasets;

Job Title: Psychotherapist / Trainer

Responsibilities:

Clinical Management:
• Oversee psychosocial mental health interventions for refugee communities, in the form of individual counseling, group therapy, and community/large group trainings and activities. Assist in the coordination of multidisciplinary treatment with counseling and physiotherapy teams.

Supervision and Training:

• Design and carry out training programs for staff counselors – including ongoing training, mentoring, modeling and supervision.
• Continually assess development of counselors and adapt training to meet their needs.

Community Assessment:

• Mentor counselors in completing needs assessments in order to identify target populations, program sites, and determine appropriate mental health interventions for people who have been tortured and/or traumatized by war.

Community Collaboration:

Reporting: Write and submit regular reports regarding clinical and training activities.

Qualifications:

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or related business field
• At least CPA II professional certification
• Previous work experience in grants or finance related field especially on USAID, SIDA and DFID funded projects
• Willingness to travel extensively within Kenya, work extended periods in the field and interact effectively with local communities and willingness to learn new approaches.
• Highly proficient in MS Office applications and use of internet for research purposes
• Good analytical skills to successfully perform financial reviews
• Demonstrated communication and writing skills
